The New York Yankees boarded their flight to Milwaukee on Thursday night, fresh off a 6-1 homestand that saw the Yanks score 7 runs or more in all 6 of those wins! Not surprisingly, the Bronx Bombers went 6-1 Over the total.
The Milwaukee Brewers are back home after playing a Wednesday Over in St. Louis. At home, the Brew Crew have landed Over in 3 of their most recent 5 games.
I am aware of what both Max Fried and Jacob Misiorowski are capable of, but so are the oddsmakers, as they have priced this total quite low, considering Fried just allowed 3 runs in a little over 5 innings in his last start, and Misiorowski left his last start with hamstring tightness. I think we head Over the total.
All 3 meetings between these teams in 2024 in Milwaukee played Over the total, and 2 of the 3 played between the teams last season in the Bronx also landed Over the total. That includes a 20-9 Yankees win in Fried's start last season against the Brewers.
